I've been sewing since I was about six years old; I remember my first piece being sewn on scrap fabric with very long stitches in green and bright red threads! Since then I've dabbled in garment construction, costuming and even taught myself how to drape patterns! I'm now trying to get back into sewing after a forced-break due to college studies. I gather a lot of inspiration from past eras; the early 20th century to about the mid 1960s being my main love! Favorite fashion designers are: Gabriel "Coco" Chanel, Valentina, Claire McCardell, Charles James, Paul Poriet, Lucille, and Jeanne Lanvin.
