ABOUT CRAFTDINNER

I am a mom and a fashionista..... well trying to be, but some days I just want to wear my jammies to the park.... I work for a Line of clothing that uses recycled rag, mostly scarf and bed sheets as accents and trimmings with lovely new fabrics, like linens and boiled wool....it's called Zachary's Smile, there are two stores in NYC and one in Vancouver , Canada where I live it's also sold at Barney's and Holt Renfew.... I love to sew, I just can't stand buying anything that I could make myself for a fraction of the price... I love to shop in thrift stores , the smaller and harder to find the better (I can't stand Value Village/Savers the prices are outrageous) I look for vintage craft and sewing books , textiles and buttons.... and metal zips and vintage clothing I come from a long line of tailors and dressmakers, my great, great grandfather was an English tailor whom taught my Grandmother to sew, she taught my mother and my mom taught me and I also went to the same fashion design school that my mother went to in the eighties (I don't know how she did it with three kids)
