Well I guess it all started with my mom who made most of my clothes when I was little. Recently I finally became interested in learning how to sew myself. While my mom never got around to teaching me much beyond button and hem repairs by hand, I do have several other family members who have been so kindly helping me. I was so excited to receive my very own sewing machine for Christmas 2007. A couple months later I had to have a surgery that would keep me home, recovering for about 5 weeks. This was a perfect opportunity to begin my sewing journey. I am definitely hooked, but now that I've been back to work it's hard to find time, so I work a little here and there, and I absolutely love it!
