Well I should definetly try leather! What brought you to England? I am from Frankreich, the Loire Valley Region, rural areas around Le Mans. Hope you had a nice summer!

Hey Brita! Good you are back! I am back too actually, I am going to be super busy so I have to put burdastyle on hold, not so much the sewing itself because I found it relaxing but i will try no to be hooked on burdastyle when I am at work. I got some writings to do for my thesis (this year is the last year of my MPhil) which explains that I haven't commented much on creations lately. I have been living in London for 12 years now. Whereabout are you from in Germany? All the best

    plotting her next project

Glad you liked my Anda dress! I did the stencil first, and my initial reaction was "crap, it doesn't look like tree branches at all, it looks like weird lighting!" Thankfully it turned out okay in the end. :)

Hey Bekaem! Thanks for your comments! I like your new profile picture and the little penguin shape shaddow in the background! Have a great time away! Bring a portable sewing project with you! X

    out for lunch

if you give me your e-amil address, I can send you the "pattern" for the shawl (which is more like a list of instructions) I made up. If anything, it is better than starting from scratch, like I did!

Yes, the shawl is great...so easy too. I kind of made up the pattern myself by scrutinizing a shawl I loved at my favorite store. I wrote it all down in a Word document. I can send it to you if you like??
