Hi - I am a finance and accounting professional, and have been sewing in some form or other since I was about 8. I started by hand sewing doll clothes...we did not own a sewing machine. In my 20's and 30's I made most of my work clothes and all of my evening clothes. I stopped sewing for about 8 years due to heavy work schedule and Momly responsibilites. I started up again about 3 years ago, and I'm having a blast. I'm so excited about this website!! The patterns are great and it's wonderful to see so many members in their teens and 20's sewing such beautiful things! Home sewing is definitely NOT a fading art form!!!
