AARONKOK's WALL (8)
Hey I love your projects! You have great talent for designing! I've been contemplating over the thought of taking up a fashion design course when I graduate from secondary school... You're such an inspiration! I'm sure you'll be a great fashion designer one day, with your own line and everything! (:
Heeey thanks for the props Aaron! Love to see that you're studying fashion. I've been thinking of looking into some programs around here. Keep it up!
Hi Aaron. At first I just wanted to say thanks for the comment on my jumpsuit, and then I stumbled across your profile.. So just thaught i'd tell you that I really like your style/creations... :-)
Aaron, I'm glad that you googled for "Bocas del Toro"! I'll hope that some day you will visit it for real. Because one thing is to see the pictures, being there is just magical. Romance novels, interesting!. About channeling your emotions; that's what true designers do. It's not easy thing, not everyone has the ability to be open and channel emotions through their work. I bet you'll have a promising future as a designer... Thanks for liking the white crispy shirt. I'm really flattered. Fashion? no, I'm studying architecture but i think that in some way both are related by creativity and sensibility. I love my marriage with architecture but fashion and sewing are my lovers... hahaha
Aaron, your welcome... it is the truth, you remind me Christian Siriano, the winner designer of season 4 of Project Runway, he is really talented and hard worker, just like you; obviously I don't know you at all but what i've seen makes me think you are. Oh Yes, I'm from Panama, and like every country in the world it has a touch of magic + paradise, hahaha. If you want to see something GORGEOUS, google for "Bocas del Toro" and then tell me what you think. You are invited... Thanks for loving my creations, now, I feel flattered!!!
Hi Aaron, I'm checking your blog, i gotta say that i really like it! you do an incredible job. I bookmarked your blog! keep going!!!
Hi Aaron.
Thanks for the comment on my shirt! (it's for sale in my Etsy shop...)
I've been admiring you for a while... I really like your style, and especially your skinny jeans.
Happy sewing!!
Hi Aaron, thanks for your comment on my pink and black dress. The bias binding wasn't so hard to do, except I tried to do two steps in one and stitched both the front and back onto the skirt fabric at the same time (after pinning and basting first to the wrong side, folding the bias strip over to the front and pinning to the front side). (I was in a hurry to finish it off!) I should've done each step separately, because the seam allowance didn't quite get caught in some places on the underneath side, so then I had to stitch again, and that row of stitching is visible on the front if you look closely. I'll probably unpick it and do it again properly. I still want to have a go your banded circle skirts -- they look so cute.
