Hi Stephanie!!! Just taking a peek if you have posted your new creations from your design class.. I have been busy with pattern classes myself..almost finished, just taking my test :)
Hi Stephanie. I just tried to download it myself and it worked. I am not sure why you are getting an error, but there is absolutely no problem for me to email it. I just need your address for this ;). It is great that you like the pattern! If you have any other problems with it let me know. Geri
Thank for the compliment! The ruffles are the hardest. I actually went to H&M today and see similar blouse (everywhere actually) I checked how they did the ruffles, they just serged one side and zigzag other side( the shown one)....I remember that I did not serge the ruffles at all.... I own a sewing foot that make ruffles (juki machine), I sew them a few times to get the fullness, that means that I cut ruffles on bias quite long and when I was happy with the fullness, I cut them to get the length I wanted and then finished the side raw edges. Yes, very boring process indeed. May be somebody else will come up with other solutions, other techniques, lets hope. Oh, oh, oh, we could make ruffle differently, such as zigzag both sides neatly and sew two lines in the middles and make the ruffles then attach to the blouse!
