thanks for your lovely comment ! I applied for an advanced diploma in fashion design but they said that my marks from my application were not high enough so I was getting tested for my forth choice which was a certificate IV in fashion practices which wasn't really what I was aiming for so yeah =\ maybe a diploma at INSEARCH might sound better
it was surprisingly really easy to do!! for the bottom, i just cut a piece of square fabric then stapled underneath, for the back, i removed the old fabric and used it as a guide for cutting the fabric, i'm pretty sure the same method could be used for other chairs! what a way to save money in this economy!
cool thanks 4 the comment on my skirt. I LOVE yr floral blouses! they're sweet! where do u get yr fabrics from??bx
Thank you for you comment on my costume, your creations look very professional. I am still learning but sewing is so much fun :)
Thx for lovely comment on my hubby's hoodie. It's very nice compliment! :)) Happy sewing! :)
Hello! Yuzawaya is an enormous craft store with several chains around Tokyo. The one I always visit is the Kichijoji chain, it's about 8 stores of craty things with 2 of the floors for fabrics. I've never heard about Kinkado, do they have nice stuffs there? Maybe I should try to visit it :)
Thanks! I got the fabric at Purl fabrics in NYC (they are online too) they have great stuff. It is the first time I've made a dress, but luckily I work here at BurdaStyle so there were lots of people willing to help me. I love the fabric choice on your pillow and bag, it's great!
thank you for your comment! haha and my dog really dooes love it :-) haha
Thank you so much for your kind words about my shirt. I am working on another one now from the same pattern, in silk this time...
Thanks for the compliment on my "Death Jester" costume. Also, sorry for taking so long to get back to you on the collar. I used really thick floral wire and made small narrow pockets in the collar and just fed the wire into the pockets. It made it where I could mold in any position. Maybe I will wear it for another event.
