hi Marmota, thanks for the compliment on my Gypsy-like blouse made out of scarves. I would say every grandma over here in Czech had these kind of scarves. And I was very happy that the size of the scarves was just big enough for the pattern. Scarves are very versatile. dík a čau! :-)

Yes, I did sew the pattern and found that the neckline didn't lay well against my neck, but rather gaped outward. I will try it again as, othewise I liked the pattern.

Thank you for the beautiful commnt on my red dress. I am happy that people like it. I must also thank you for the "how to make your own buttons" -because up to then I used to use special plastic buttons where you cover the upper part with the fabric and with the lower you pin it. But with your suggestion I can use all those buttons that I don't like but am not willing to throw away. Thank you again!

As ye sew, so shall ye rip.

That is what all of us must have finally received; 61 notices in a bit over one hour. The pattern numbers are consecutive. Like hitting a key and not removing the finger fast enough, only much, much worse... I've been lucky enough to work around computers since the early 1960's. Every time a programmer tweaked the software, we spent weeks redoing whatever the program's improvement fouled up. It does look as though the Systems Analyst here is on the job and caught the error. AHA, I just figured out Marmota= marmoset. I looked at the photos above. Nehmah

Hi Marmota! I just saw in Benedickta's Pattern Suggestions thread that you seconded my request for a long skirt! I am glad to find someone who agrees that the flowy long skirt is simply an irreplaceable item. So comfortable, and with such effortless elegance! I am so sorry yours got ripped on a plane! That happened to my favorite pair of jeans. The airlines are an absolute wardrobe hazard.....

Oh how nice you liked my skirt. Yes, use it in your dress, no worries. Just one thing - if you post it on burdastyle, please link me :) Have a nice day.
