I am a middle-aged pharmacokineticist living in Nijmegen (the Netherlands) one size larger than average, so I sew because I want to wear clothes with a nice fit. I have a multinational past: I was born in Romania in a hungarian family, I moved to Sweden (suburb of Stockholm) in 1988, to Germany (Aachen) in 2004 and finally to the Netherlands in 2005. Sewing is an old hobby of mine, but I only recently start getting to the stage when I am gladly and willingly wearing the things I make.
