I am 23 years old. I have been sewing since I was five years old. I used to visit my nana and she'd let me use her sewing machine to make things for my barbies. After an accident on the sewing machine when I was 11 years old, I stopped sewing until I was 15, when I was given a sewing machine by my parents for Christmas. I would say my skill level falls somewhere between intermediate and expert, I would probably refer to myself as more of an advanced seamstress, rather than an expert, since I think there is always more to be learned. I mainly sew corsets, but also enjoy making women's clothing. I want to start making some men's clothes, the only pattern company that I've seen who makes nice patterns for men seems to be Burda!
