I'm the 27 years old mother of a boisterous little guy who amazes me more each passing day. I always wanted to sew. I remember hand sewing paper purses (My mom never thought of letting me use discarded clothing and didn't think it safe for me to use a machine) and pinning and tucking designs for my dolls. Unfortunately, the sewing machine always scared me and so, while I bought lots of patterns over the years and started a lot of projects, I never actually completed anything (at least, never by myself). Being now at home for the next few years, the cashflow is low and, I need a hobby that makes me feel accomplished and, lets me be by myself, and think only about having fun once in a while. Thus, I decided to REALLY start sewing and, mostly reuse my old stuff. So there it is, wish me luck and feel free to throw in tips and comments as I am always trying to better myself!
