Oh that’s a great idea! I will look into it. THANKS! It is a shame not to be able to sew stretch fabrics too though. I haven’t tried it, but I guess a straight stitch wouldn’t have enough give. My sister just got her machine fixed and that does a zigzag so I might have to do some sewing at her house.
Glad you like my grasshopper! I am completely obsessed with it. I got it for £5 on ebay! It runs really well. I love my machines but they only do a straight stitch and now that I've started to make some clothes it feels a bit limited. Doing button holes by hand is so time consuming. Your singer is beautiful! Love your photos.

Saw your posting on the form about being short. I am also short, and not particularly small either. I use some patterns by petite plus patterns starts at a size 36 and goes to a 46. Just wanted to pass that along. :)
I didn’t go. Too hot and not enough energy to walk there. I did however spend the whole day cleaning out my sewing room (must be the nesting) and found a few things sitting in boxes that i was going to buy but now don’t need to!! I spent from 8:30am in there and have just finished, it’s sooooo tidy but i can’t see it staying that way for too long.
I got the same email! I'm trying to decide if i'm brave enough to venture there with only days left until my due date. There's a few things i need and getting them at 20% off would be better than paying full price.
