DJEATSFLESH's WALL (10)
Hi! thanks for the nice comments.....The sushi was actually made for my 16 year old neighbour who is also in love with sushi, she was very happy with it! As for tips on making cute critters I'd say take your time creating facial expressions...cut out a couple of pieces of felt the size of in tended eyes and pin them to your toy to see what position works best. Also most of the big teddy bear making sites have excellent tips on sewing furry fabrics, using safety eyes and stuffing. Let me know how you get on! Becky
Hi! Sorry I had no idea you wrote on my wall! For the strapless dress it was actually sort of a bad idea, haha. I simply didn't sew them on and just "tucked them in" to the dress. It kind of made it more of a hassle than it really is so I took it apart and sewed it together. Hope that helps!

Thanks so much for your kind comments on my skirt!
For the simplicity pattern (tie sleeves), I think I used the size 14 too (based on my measurements). I normally wear a 6 or 8 store-bought dress. There is plenty of room in the body of the dress, but the neck actually feels kind of tight.
Didn't do any altering though. Good luck! I get so many complements on mine, especially when I wore them with tights in the winter.
thanks for the comment! are you in marietta, ga? I'm in Sandy Springs!
Thank you so much for your comment on my daughter's dress. It's greatly appreciated. :o)
Thanks so much for your kind comment on my denim Kasia. Kasia is a nice pattern, definitely I can recommend it to you!
Thanks for your compliments on my top. I like the patterned band you put on your dress. I might borrow that idea when I get round to making my next project, I like the bright blue too!
DJ, RE: your armscye trouble. In case you don't have time to go to the forum, here are two websites that may be of some help. freeembroidery.net - Chapter 13 scroll down to arms and sleeves area. and feisdressblog.blogspot.com look for something like "so you can't move your arms..." The forum has a clearer set of directions. Cordially, Nehmah
