I like talking about myself, so this will be long, honest, and uninteresting: I'm one of those horrible intellectuals. I read all sorts of heavy boring books (alas, my favourites are Norwegians), and I'm going to be an author one day myself. I write all the time! I also love visual arts, and I'm very fond of drawing portraits. My sacrifice to art is that I've promised myself away to a croquis class. That also means that my first paid job is to stand stark naked in front of a lot of people. Awesome, Y/N? My love for aesthetics brought me to the point where I could not find readymade clothes in my taste, so now I've taken up sewing. The only clothes I've ever finished are an unboned waist cincher that is now too goth to wear, and a totally cute circle skirt out of newspaper print curtain fabric. (It is very awesome!) I mostly alter readymade clothes, and the reason is that I have a not-so-modern body shape, the oh-so-extreme hourglass. Modern clothing, however "tailored", hangs like a sack on me, so I take everything in at the waist and hope for the best. Hah! This could have been worse.
