so-co-s-su-gro. i lOVE IT! so i went to joann's fabric yesterday with a giftcard, determined to buy some solids on my maiden soco outing. i ended up with a cart full of wild patterns (but only two were flowery!) and 3 solids. that's more solids than i've ever bought! i'm trying to think of the salmon colored cotton as a rectangle... i think i need to peruse your creations for more inspiration :)
Hey I think your job is great - I mean come on: I studied History and Religion for four years and want to be a professor eventually - I love librarians. I feel a little over my head with this coat. It will probably be January by the time I have it all done. I got a lot of help from a kind lady at a small town fabric store near where I live; she was so excited that me (a young guy) was going to make his own coat - she was cool.
Basketball team? You suprise me every day! Well I was 3 in 1988, but I know that song, is it really that old?
And I'm still NOT at Uni ;) Next Monday semester starts again and I want to finish my winter coat and a pair of Anita jeans until then ;)
Hey Helene! Sorry for not sending you a message sooner... sometimes working full-time, studying and trying to find time to sew and knit all gets a bit too much for me ;o(
Your research sounds extremely interesting... but completely outside the realm of my undestanding (which is why I'd love to hear more about it!). I'm studying at South Bank Uni, which is nice and near where I live. I'd love to meet up with you sometime - when are you around the South Ken area? Take care -x-
so you're a librarian who knits her own sweaters. Maybe in the past, or in other situations that wouldn't be all that attractive, however in your case it couldn't be further from unattractive...
Do me a favor and start comedy, or write a book :D At least you made me laugh about my fish pants ;)
Well, the Thomas Anders jacket, that's a level beyond it ;) I also noticed (while watching the MC Hammer video the 462nd time) that MC Hammer hat a really delicious jacket ;) Worth a try some day ;)
CAROTTESAUVAGE's WALL (10)
i'm going to take a side route here: the People for the Proliferation of Prints would like to suggest a little beatles for your shopping experience:
"ev'ryBOday's got SUMthin' to hii-iide, 'cept for ME and MAH MON-key!"
helter skelter also works nicely. anything to keep the brain off balance.

You scare me! I could cope with your secret love for Thomas Anders, but now it's over, the bier-pumping is too much ;)
