I sewed well in the sixties and then sporatically since, always with effort. This site, found by my computer-literate daughter, has really started me thinking and getting excited about sewing again. My daughter whips out these creations that have differences with the patterns that I never would have attempted or even thought of. All the Creations on your pages are so inspirational and exciting. Thank you to you and all the Creators on your pages-this is fun!

I'm completely new to sewing. Do you have any books you would especially recommend to a beginner sewing that is looking to be self taught? Thank you for this site. Your clothing is beautiful and from the posts I've seen they all seem to have a great fit. It is so exciting to find such high quality patterns for free! I'm excited to learn enough to be able to try my hand at some of it :).
