In 1949 Aenne Burda founded a printing and publishing company whose objective was to bring fashionable patterns to women worldwide. Burda Mode is now published in 90 countries and 16 languages. Burda patterns are recognized everywhere for their quality and consistency and, especially, for the incomparable accuracy of their fit. Today, all the patterns are still produced in Offenburg, Germany by the wonderful Burda pattern production team.
