I spent most of my life denying the fact that I'm crafty and love to make things. Thank goodness my mom gave me a sewing machine a few years ago. I haven't been able to stop making stuff ever since.

I love embroidery and sewing, and have toyed a bit with crochet. I love connecting with other creative/crafty people. Connecting with people while you are engaged in the creative process opens up incredible, intimate and FUN conversations.

I'm addicted to craft/sewing blogs. I love reading about what other people are doing, and love getting to know folks through their writing.

I'm married and have two kids. I work as a studio assistant at the Stitch Lab in Austin, Texas (a sewing studio) and do freelance web design from home.

I am NOT a perfectionist when it comes to sewing/crafting. I just really, truly enjoy the creative process, and the gratification of making something.

.... And it's kinda fun to be able to say, "Thanks, I made it." when someone compliments something you're wearing ....
