APEAPE's WALL (2)
Hi ReneeBeth, No, it does not have to be 100% natural or even cellulose (plant fibers) with MX Reactive Dyes. However, the color may not come out as dark and you make notice small variations or stripes where the fibers are mixed. Of course, the higher the percent natural, the better. I would just try doing a sample - you may love how it comes out. I have not tried stretchy fabrics yet. Let me know if you try!
Hi there! I have a question about your shibori how-to. Does it have to be a strictly natural fiber that you dye? or can it be something like a stretchy cotton blend? well, I guess sometimes 100% cotton comes stretchy. Anyway, great how-to! I haven't used it yet, just dreamt of the things I'll make with it :)
