Make Anda a Crisscross Maxi Dress (7095 Views)

I turned Anda into a dress with a criss crossed top and lengthened it to make it a maxi dress. This is the first time I've ever altered a pattern for anything but fit.

Materials

Fabric for dress, lining, and obi and/or ribbon belts. Trim for neckline, elastic, thread, and Anda pattern.

    :):) i love the photo of ur sewing room - it looks like mine after a bit of work. and it convinced my boyfriend that it is perfectly normal after a day's sewing!

    Excellent how-to. I can make a bustier for a rhino if you give me the pattern. Altering patterns to create a new one..Ehhh! NOPE! I will MS Paint this puppy for future use, as I like the Anda dress. Nehmah
