Draw marks on wrong side of fabric (2660 Views)

In you chose to place your fabric on the right side of the fabric, to better see the fabric print or weave, then you have to draw your marks on the wrong side of the fabric.

Sometimes a simple cut, on the edge of the fabric, but not all the way to the seam line does the trick.

Insert a pin under each mark, to help transfer the marks from the pattern to the fabric.
Step 2 of 2

Turn the fabric wrong side up and draw the mark.

Remember to take all your pins out.

Thanks Pranamama! All these tips I guess are weird tricks my mom thought me, and she learned to sew by herself, some may not agree with my methods, but they work for me :)
