Step 1 of 7
1. Serge short ends of pouch. Fold, right sides facing, the short flap goes in between the two longer sides.

Serge pouch sides at 5/8 inch.
Step 3 of 7

Serge all handle edges at 5/8 inch.
Step 4 of 7

Sew handle tops together. Note: the handles of one side attach to each other, not to the opposite side. This is a bit of an Achilles heel for me that I always mess up. Be warned!

Side seams: Serge at 5/8� with right sides facing. On one side, lay pouch on top in accordance with the notches. Make sure the folded part of the pouch is at the seam and the open part of the pouch goes toward the center of the bag.

Bottom: fold in at notches, and serge at 5/8 inch.
