Alter the pants pattern to remove wrinkles under the but (4970 Views)
After seeing kaller's pants, and reading her question regarding problem with the wrinkles under the but, I made a simple instruction for fixing this problem. Kallers, I hope you won't mind that I used your picture as an example.

Step 1 of 3
I used kallers' image to show you the problem: wrinkles under the but. I hope you don't mind it, kallers.
-
Step 2 of 3
The back pattern block. The blue line marks the original pattern. The red line marks the alteration. I can't give you the exact meassures, this is just an instruction what you should do - you should reduce the but curve.
-
Step 3 of 3
You might need a greater alteration: the but curve might be altered all along its length. Since the pattern edge was moved on the but curve side, you might need to alter the hip side, as well.
