  Meet American Girl Felicity, she will be helping in our demonstration today!

  Step 2 of 13

  Take the blue fabric and measure how long front the top to the bottom, and from underarm to waist and from your waist to the floor. To make the front part that comes up draw a slightly bowed line from your underarm measurement to the top measurement. Cut 2 of Blue fabric, and 2 of lining(if you want) Go to Step 13 and then come back to Step 3

  Pin the 2 peices together about 4 inches(person) 1in (doll) from the Top. And pin about 4 in(person) 1 in (doll) below the waist. Sew in between these pins.

  Step 4 of 13

  Press the seam open. Also press the remaining edge as well.

  Step 5 of 13

  Follow Step 2-4 for the back peices. But make the seam from the bottom to about 4in(person) 1in(doll) below the waist. Press seam and edge open

  Step 6 of 13

  Put 1 peice of trim on each side of the front middle seam. DO THIS BEFORE YOU JOIN THE FRONT AND BACK.

  Step 7 of 13

  Sew front and back together. Make alterations like bust darts and side seams.

• 

  Step 8 of 13

  Sew 2 peices of trim to the top. From the front to the back.

• 

  Step 9 of 13

  Sew 1 peice of trim to the bottom all arround the skirt.

• 

  Step 10 of 13

  Put Laces in the back.

  Step 11 of 13

  Yea! Your done! Here is a Picture of the front.

  Here is a Picture of the Back. The laces only come up to the bottom of the trim.

  I looked at a picture and I see that the front has Princess seams. I didnt see the usual double side peices that she usually has.
