    A whip stitch is an overcast stitch done to lock in a seam edge, finish a fabric edge, or bind two pieces of fabric together. It is often done to attach linings to clothing and bags. It can also be done to finish a hem lining.

    Why, oh why, did you use such a pale thread on white fabric? It's so hard to see! Red or purple would have been perfect :)
