  Step 1 of 12

  Cut out the malissa pattern in your size.

  Step 2 of 12

  I shortend it about 40 cm (seam allowences included). So it ends over my hip.

  Mark the point on the front piece where you want to shorten yours.

  Step 3 of 12

  Connect the points.

• 

  Step 4 of 12

  Do this also at the back piece.

• 

  Step 5 of 12

  Cut on the lines.

• 

  Step 6 of 12

  Mark the points where you want the loops for the belt.

  I choose the waist. (but I must correct it later, cause my waist is more above)

  Step 7 of 12

  Lay down the pattern pieces on your fabric and cut them out.

  Mark all important points. (also the points for the loops)

  Step 8 of 12

  How to make the loops:

  I cut out 2 pieces of fabric. 4 cm wide and 5 cm long.

  Fold the pieces together, right sides facing (now the wide is 2 cm).

  Baste.

• 

  Step 9 of 12

  Stich the loops. So that the finished wide is 1 cm.

  Turn the loops, so that the left sides facing.

• 

  Step 10 of 12

  Baste the loops on the marked points.

  The loops must lay between the fabric pieces when right sides facing.

• 

  Step 11 of 12

  Turn the shirt around and you see how it will looks when you finished it.

  Step 12 of 12

  Now sew the shirt after the instructions from the malissa pattern.

  I make a belt wich is very long, cause I want to turn it twice times around my waist.

  Make the belt like the loops, but insert the ends. (don´t forget the seam allowences!)
