Yoshimi Hand Warmers (4943 Views)
This is how to make Yoshimi Hand Warmers. Pattern is made for jersey.

-
Step 1 of 9
This pattern is used for only jersey fabric. Pattern includes seam allowance (0.3cm=~1/8inch). Use thread for stretchy fabric. All edges are to be left raw otherwise stated.
If your jersey is not so stretchy, try printing pattern larger than 100% (eg. 103%)
However, it would be best making sure of its tightness with a glove made by 100% before you have a real go, as this is very easy and less fabric consuming.
-
Step 2 of 9
Press (Iron) once and open the hem of thumb part on 5mm inward before assembling.
-
Step 3 of 9
Folding right side inside, stitch thumb part to make a tube.
-
Step 4 of 9
Fold the edge of thumb part as pressed before and stitch. This is the most difficult step of all procedure.
-
Step 5 of 9
Applause your stitched hem.
-
Step 6 of 9
Assemble thumb tube and body part. Be sure of the correct direction and the assemble signs when assembling.
-
Step 7 of 9
Press the ends of a glove before stitching lengthwise. Then stitch lengthwise.
-
Step 8 of 9
Finish by zig zag stitching or other stitch for elastic fabric on both ends.

Thanks! I wonder what it would be like using my favourite stretch-velvety fabrics. :-)
