Sew a zipper in the Talea coat (2816 Views)

I made the Talea coat again for spring. I decided to use a zipper because I want to keep warm on stormy and rainy days. I hide the zipper because I want to wear the coat open, too. And it looks much better this way.

I hope you understand my instructions, cause english is not my mother tongue!

    Step 1 of 17

Lay your coat down and sign the middle on the left and right sides from the front (where the coat is closed by the zipper when you put it on).

The sign for the right side must be in the inner side of the coat.

The sign for the left side in front of the coat.

Materials

talea coat, zipper, fabric stripes, iron
