Make your own ironapplications and -patchs (3476 Views)

This is really easy to make! You can mend holes with our own ironpatch that way, you can also make some applications fitting to your on creations (like I did), or you can make applications for cloths you have, that bore you the way they are. I wish you all a lot of fun with this howto ( its may first one, so I hope you will understand it, just ask me if not.. )

    Step 1 of 4

    Take the normal fabric and cut out the shape you like. Take the ironpatch fabric and cut out a piece slightly bigger than your shape (as coming up in Step 2)



Materials

-You need blank ironpatch fabric ( ask at the department store where you buy your sew stuff) -fabric rest you like, your favorite fabric, fabric with a nice pattern ( it´s up to you) -an iron (of course)

    I use 'kids glue sticks' to hold fabic together. That way I don't have the 'bumps' from the pins. It's worked for me so far!
