Step 1 of 3
I have been a stamp maniac years ago. When I came back to sewing, I thought "how can I use my stamping techniques on fabric?". And there are lots of possibilities in this combination.
Like stamping with bleach.
First I dye a fabric in my wasching machine. I used colors available in Germany, so you need to find a color that will bleach. Normally all colors that don´t stand high temperatures can be bleached. No guarantee on this, lol.
Then you choose a stamp, I used foam stamps that are available in crafts shops, stamp shops or some quilt shops maybe.
Then use some applicator to put some bleach on the stamp. Take care for a well ventilated room, the bleach is to handle with care!

Step 2 of 3
Here you can see how I arranged the pattern. You may choose any image and pattern you like. You see the fabric before it was ironed (german:ungebügelt)
The bleach has -guess what- bleached the dyed color of the fabic. You have to wait a few seconds until the bleach is doing its work... the fabic becomes more and more light if the bleach "bleaches"
Try the effect on a scrap first, because maybe even fabrics that you have bought in a several color may work.

Step 3 of 3
To show the possibilities, here you can see the ready gown that I sewed for my daughter.
I hope you enjoyed, Bärbel
