  Step 1 of 9

  1. After tracing the body pattern (1 size smaller since I added an extra 2 inch timming on the front body), trim 1 inch off off the side seams from the hem (front and back) and 0.5 inch on top (for the 1 inch trimming under the bust)

  1. On the front body pattern, smoothen out the tip ( I took out 1.5 inches off the tip).

  1. For the upper body pattern, lay out the bust, upper back and sleeve pieces on pattern paper. Attach the sleeve pieces on the exact size marker on the back and bust pieces. Trace on the exact size under the bust and on the upper back.

  1. Fix the collar line by using curve and frech rulers.

  1. For the sleeves, draw a curve line from the seam of the underbust and seam of the upper back (lowest portion). The sleeves added on this pattern was about 15 inches. Curve hem of sleeves with ruler.

  1. Trimmings added were 7 cm on the hem of sleeves and blouse, 5.5 cm on underbust and collar. All pieces were made twice since it was sewed on back to back.
