  Step 1 of 10

  Gather a bunch of old clothes, a top, pants and a handful of smaller items, such as underwear, bras, socks, washcloths and nylons.

  Step 2 of 10

  For attaching the smaller articles of clothing to the top and pants you’ve picked out you will need to purchase some spray adhesive from the art or hardware store.

  Step 3 of 10

  Work in a ventilated area or outside and somewhere with enough room to lay out the pants and the top. Start playing around and positioning the smaller garments on to the top and bottoms.

  Step 4 of 10

  Spray both sides of the garments being stuck together and begin to secure them to the top and the bottom.

• 

  Step 5 of 10

  When you’ve finished with the front sides flip them over and do the same to the back, allowing some of the pieces to fold over to the back from the front and vise versa.

  Step 6 of 10

  The spray adhesive actually helps to make them look like real static cling.

• 

  Step 7 of 10

  Be as funny and creative as you can, the more humor put into a costume of this sort is most likely for the better.
