Celestina- altered and recycled take two (9401 Views)

Celestina altered and recycled. Shortened sleeves, widened from the armholes to the hem, longer ties which have been moved up to just under the bust, no side panels, no waistband and no zip!

    Step 1 of 12

    Print out your pattern on recycled paper and cut out. As you can see i have altered my pattern by adding to the sides increasing the width from the sleeves to the hem. I will not be using the side panels in this dress. I also left in the alteration i made for my denim Celestina (see the how-to for more details).

    this looks great. i love the eyelet lining. i'd really like to see a bit bigger picture of the finished dress--perhaps showing the neckline and hem? looks lovely though.

    This really is adorable. What a lovely maternity dress. I would also like to see the whole thing. So when I get pregnant again I can make it too.

    BTY what kind of material did you use? a stretchy one or something firmer like cotton?

    has lots to do

    Unfortunately i'm having troubles uploading full size images. Once i have it worked out i'll put them up. The fabric has no stretch in it, it's a chiffon type fabric.
