  Press seam allowances apart.

• 

  Step 2 of 5

  Turn under edge of seam allowance 1/8”; depending on the type of fabric, 1/4” may be easier.

• 

  Step 3 of 5

  After pressing, it will look like this.

  Step 4 of 5

  Stitch along the edge of the fold on both sides and press again.

  Step 5 of 5

  The finished tailored seam should look like this.
