    This is a clever adaptation of what used to be call an engineer's cap. This would be back when I was young and trains ran by coal-fired steam engines. Thanks for sharing a millinery pattern. Nehmah

    diynetwork.com has a very generic pattern with the measurements. This hat is a newspaper boy hat with the one side squared off, so you can make adjustments accordingly to your pattern. I'm a beginner at sewing, and I printed out the pattern... Here goes nothing!......
