  Step 1 of 14

  Cut from your fabric scrap a 3" by 9" rectangle. The width can be between 2 and 4 inches, depending on how large you want your curlers to be. You can also make a range of sizes for a more natural look.

  Step 2 of 14

  Fold it right sides together in half, lengthwise, and iron.

• 

  Step 3 of 14

  Make a mark at 4".

• 

  Step 4 of 14

  Sew along the line at 1/4", don't forget to back-tack!

  Step 5 of 14

  Cut the corner at an angle.

• 

  Step 6 of 14

  Turn it inside out.

• 

  Step 7 of 14

  Stuff with poly-fill.

• 

  Step 8 of 14

  Sew the stuffed end closed.

• 

  Step 9 of 14

  Iron allowances in about 3/8" in, including the end part.

• 

  Step 10 of 14

  Topstitch narrowly.

• 

  Step 11 of 14

  Make a buttonhole at the end.

• 

  Step 12 of 14

  Sew on a button at the stuffed end.

• 

  Step 13 of 14

  And you're done! I made 20, because I'll be using them for my cousins. I thought I'd put them in my hair just for fun, even if I don't need it!
