Anda out of old dress shirt (10089 Views)

Ok so this is the how-to for my entry for the anda minichallenge. It's more a description of how I made it than a how-to, since none of the has to be done this way... And PLEASE tell me if there is something you don't understand! So, let's begin! :D

    Step 1 of 11

    Take your shirt and lay it out flat with the buttons up and just lay the anda pattern over so the center front line is about in the center of the button placket.

Materials

the anda pattern, an old dress shirt (preferably not too thin), a little more than half a yard of contrasting or matching fabric, two or three buttons for the belt, (optional: buttons to replace the already existing ones on the shirt)

    Oh and I forgot: I also sewed an extra button at the bottom! :D

    Thank you for this How-to. The instructions are clear. I will use it after the carpets are finally cleaned by the landlord. :)) I want to try with a child's shirt and a willing (for grandma) GD. Nehmah
