Take some old men's shirt's, i mean shirts that are old not shirts from old men, although you could use those if they are willing to part with them! ;-) Mine were donated to me from a friends Mum that had a clear out.

I absolutely love it! The stripes all appear to be the same from a distance, but look even better closeup! And the collar and cuffs are fantastic. I might have to nick some of my dad's old dress shirts (he retired years ago!) next time I visit!

I also didn't notice he difference in stripes from the photos on the "creations" page. Your work is wonderful and thanks for the great how-to! I appreciate the inspiration.

I really like this idea. I was thinking of ways to change a men's shirts into a woman's blouse. Awesome!!

Great work with beautiful fabrics. Here in Germany it's difficult at the moment getting shirt-fabrics that are not too modern in style. Old shirt-fabrics are the alternative!

Fantastic! I can't wait to sift through my husband's old shirts to look for some to make this blouse! I love the collar & cuffs details.
