I admit, I’m not much of a cold weather-person, I find every way to keep warm :) I found a 5 euro/meter wool cloth :) I was given a 0.25 meter freebie so I made a detachable hood to go with it. This pattern was drafted from my sloper..high collar with straps (to hide buttons for the detachable hood), front pockets and a belt.
