I started this dress last summer on a whim the day before we had to leave to go to my friend Kat’s wedding in North Carolina. It was turning out so nicely, I decided I didn’t want to rush it, and boy did I take my time. I pulled it out of it’s storage bag about 2 weeks ago and finished it up.

It’s adorable! I love color blocking. I started on a color blocked dress using the burda pattern 7784, the bustier dress. I’m doing the bust pieces, straps, and little bow in lime linen, and the rest of the dress in kelly green linen. I’ll post a pic when it’s all done.
