hey there! the flickr swap group is totally separate from burdastyle; just inspired by the fabulous site & community here. basically we're swapping handmade items that didn't turn out the way we planned, didn't finish, or don't suit us. we also exchange fabrics, patterns (but NOT burdastyle's paid patterns), and anything sewing related. we do it on flickr because it's easy to upload a bunch of pictures and see what everyone's got in our group pool. so, you'll need a free flickr account. if you'd like to come and play, pm me or emilykate here or leave us a message at the flickr group with your flickr name and your burdastyle name, if it's different, so we know you :)
oh... how is gonna be if there are more than one person want the same item? I there any rule or regulation I can read somewhere? i would definitely like to join the group ;)

yes, and long winded they are, i mean who wrote those?! :)... so far, no one's wanted the same thing (i think?). it's up to the person with the prized item what they do with it. and everyone's cool about being honest about a swap offer (if they'd rather decline, that sort of thing). by the way, i love your cat icon!
