rolling coins so she can buy silk

I'll join you Nikkishell. I have an orange and blue baby quilt that I started last October. I finished piecing it in November and machine quilted it in January. That only leaves the binding. The material has been washed and only needs to be pressed, cut, and pressed into binding then stitched on. And I am STILL procrastinating on that process.

I also cut out about four doll outfits and have completely ignored them. Additionally, I have not finished the doll outfits that are "finished" since I have not bought any velcro.

Yesterday I draped my first dress bodice that will need finishing for a dance on November 8th. And there's a little girl in the dance group that has outgrown her outfit so I'm going to make her a loaner that will return to me when she outgrows it. Hopefully I can have that done by her birthday... November 3rd.

Oh and while I'm publicly shaming myself. I have about 7 things done for an Etsy shop... I haven't opened yet. So maybe I should open it ;)

Oh and even better... I have a sidonie, Michelle, Nichola, and a dress and a suit that I have not photographed to post yet!

no time to sew, just packing

Such a good idea to write it down and finish old projects in stead of starting new constantly. I'm moving soon and don't really have time to start new complicated projects (although I will have a few to take my mind off moving once in a while). My next project will be a simple dress, I might also go for a skirt if I find a nice fabric. As for projects that need finishing: A skirt I made two years ago. Once I was finished I realised the fit was way off, I must fix that. A shirt which threw me off in the collar and is now just hanging in my closet, collarless on one side and messed up collar on the other.

Those are just the two things that need finishing. I will also throw out fabric, no matter the size that I know I will never use. There's no point in bringing them into my new home (I made it a point a while ago to never buy fabric I don't like, I know I won't use it. These fabrics were bought before that point)

      moving on to shirts

This would be a nice feature to add in the profile! I'm done with pants for the time being and moving to skirts, one for me and two for my daughter. I also have 1 dress and 2 pants planned for her. Ah yeah, and the diana bag but I'm missing the lining fabric (although I know exactly which one I want and where I'll find it).

rolling coins so she can buy silk

I made my Etsy banner today! Will hopefully open the store tomorrow :D Emma dress from my dance group is going very well. I picked up fabric yesterday. Two green (her favorite color) satins and some matching trim and lace. I was feeling quite motivated as well so both the bodice lining and bodice pieces are done but not put together. Got stuck on sleeve ruffles.

And if I can convince my husband, Saturday I may drag him to the park so I can take pictures of my creations for myself! Looking at the quilt and the binding and knowing that i have to use the rotary cutter and buy it a new blade... all that makes the quilt still at the top of procrastination. Blah... maybe one day... How are your UFO (un-finished projects) list coming? Any progress on the Jacket Nikkishell?

Is there any way to make the paragraph breaks like you did in your post Nikkishell? I hit enter in between paragraphs, but obviously it doesn't work....

Finished Emma's Dress mostly. I think I'm going to sew the stomacher to a tank for her and I haven't put snaps on it yet because I haven't tried it on her yet.

I made my niece her 2nd birthday presents for Friday. I was inspired by your play food Nikkishell. She has breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a little felt bag. I also made her a blue tutu to go with the leotard I made last year. She's fascinated with a Wiggles video of Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars where the ladies wear blue tutus. I hope she loves it! The etsy store... Not open yet. The quilt: sitting on the couch where Olive cat sleeps on it. At least someone enjoys it! The doll clothes: not happening anytime soon. The pictures: it rained Saturday morning and was too windy the rest of the day :( The draped dress will happen this afternoon! Though maybe not be finished...

To make paragraphs use the following between: < br >< br > (remove the spaces when typing) I also found i needed to add a full stop at the end of each item on my list.
