Under patterns there's a post by "yummymommy" of the sibylle dress for FREE. I don't think anyone can actually download it for free, but still, it exists. At any rate, just the fact that a burdastyle pattern is attributed to anyone else makes me...upset. Please make it disappear as quickly as possible.
I know, this really bothers me. People do this often too and when there are so many of these "patterns" on the front page it just looks so messy and unprofessional. The weird thing about this one is that it was submitted the same day the person signed up which seems odd to me.

Yeah, makes me think in that case its a spambot rather than an actual person/user.
The whole thing makes no sense to me, and yet it happens... what's the point in uploading a pattern without the pattern? And it happens quite often, there used to be an Allison one as well, and others. There must be a reason why this happens!
You have to be careful with "empty patterns" they can hide viruses and spy wear. Then you click download, you actually download an invisible spy wear or a virus. The problem with them is .. no way to really check.. So be careful. I believe that administration should have more strict rules about publishing any free downloads here. Since it is a great place to "catch" a bug.
Hi Everybody!
We have noticed that happen more and more as well. We have been watching it for a little in order to understand if that is created by actual members or spam. Concerning downloading patterns with virus, we check every pattern pdf that is uploaded by a user. We did not want to make the process too complicated for users to share their patterns, but I will talk to our programmers about additional security measures that could be taken.
Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. But why make a spambot for a pattern website? Seems silly to me.
