Basic pattern blocks

hey im new to the site im a fashion design student, i was just wondering if anyone knew of any sites or places i could buy a set of basic dressmaking blocks, im not looking for commercial patterns but basic blocks from which i can make any garment!

i would really appreciate the help thanks :)

      www.morplan.co.uk sell them but are quite expensive

      thanks, yeah morplan is the only site i have come across, but it is expensive!!

      I'm not sure if this is exactly what you mean, but vogue and mccalls patterns both have fitting slopers (like the one JJ posted to this site: http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/show/1345). Both pattern companies have a top sloper much like JJ's with an attached or separate pencil skirt-like sloper with which to build skirts. McCalls bodice/skirt sloper and Vogue's bodice/skirt sloper Vogue also has a pants sloper here. Does that help with what you're looking for?

      hi delmela! I'm surprised that at fashion school they haven't had you draft your own blocks- it was an excercise they made us do at my school. Anyway, its not that hard- you can follow instructions in a book like Winifred Aldrich's, which you can probably get at the library.
