I'm starting to make my own patterns and I need muslin. Rather than buy bit by bit I'd like to buy some in bulk and have a hefty reserve. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or retailers they recommend.

I'm lucky in that in my area we happen to have a manufacturer that dyes and coats fabric for different applications. They have a store that sells fabric remnants by the pound. Not all of us are so fortunate :(. Walmart might be able to give you a discount on a bolt of muslin if you speak with the store manager. Also try using old sheets purchased from thrift stores.
