rolling coins so she can buy silk

Cate lengthened would make cute bridesmaid dresses, as would Azalea or Danielle. And the great thing about these patterns is that your lovely maids would WANT to wear their dresses again!

PS Thanks for the Cravat pattern :D

I've always entertained the idea of doing my own dress, ever since i drew it. But theres the fear of ruining it! do you have to have lots of sewing experience to be able to pull it off and end up with something gorgeous?

not really as long as you have a good pattern and some experience in sewing then any one can make a wedding dress. just don't get too too many big ideas that will swamp you, as that is when things can go wrong. im beading my dress but i have lots of time so i can make sure its right.

Simple always looks better anyway. I used to waitress and dear god some of the dresses were horrific...well, a bit too excessive...

I made my dil's wedding dress (medieval style) , and the 2 bridesmaids dresses,(with shawls & bags to match) the flower girl & page boy outfits. I don't think I'll ever put myself through that again!
