Question about using Acrobat for future patterns....
Will all future BurdaStyle-generated patterns only be available to those with access to a copy shop? Not all of us have such access or a copy of Adobe Acrobat. Many of us cannot afford Acrobat, at over $450.00. Nehmah
Hi Nehmah,
What I have done with the print-at-copyshop patterns is, after I download the file I open it in photoshop and convert it to a jpeg. Once it is converted to a jpeg I open it up in paint and print as a pdf. I use doPDF for this. It is a free pdf converter - doPDF
Then all I have to do is print from adobe reader and it is all tiled.
I hope you can understand all of that.
Judith
Thank you Judith, This will help members who are also in small-town or outlying areas. I appreciate that you will share you knowledge. Even if I cannot make it work, that is why I had children. One of them can bail me out (I hope) They are far more comp-literate than I will ever be. Cordially, Nehmah PS I really hope that we aren't going to see all patterns in this plotter-format. N
