This my sound dumb.. Im thinking of using metalic threads that come with my machine to overlock my charlie bag. Is this possible? Bad idea? What do you think. Thanks
AJL, Hi, I've used metallic threads in the past and I found them to be made mostly of plastic, which snap after a while. I used to love embellish things with my beautiful, multi-colored threads, but alas, they couldn't hold up to soft wear & tear. I read that SULKY threads are strongest which was mentioned by a quilter...Superior Threads have a guarantee as well. Hope this helps.
