Somewhere to chat informally about this and that, sewing related or otherwise. It's quite hard for a newbie to know where to go and who's around. On a gardening forum I use, we have 'The Shed' which is brilliant for forging friendships with like minded people.
You are right you know, I am new to sewing and this sight. Sometime its good to have someone to talk to about things generally. By the way, how do I add my photograph. Hope to talk to you more.
Hi Tribestrend, to upload a pic make sure you have logged in first.Go to your profile, scroll across and you will see profile edit. Click on edit.scroll down to 'upload profile pic', click on browse. This will bring up my docs, select your pic, open file, and it should appear.
Hope this helps.
I love "The Shed" at your metioned gardening forum, though it's been forever since I posted there! I too am sort of overwhelmed by the forums here and would love to have a place to get to know everyone like you've mentioned. Maybe this thread could be that?
Blackcurrant I'm afraid Nehmah, no apricots!
This was just a suggestion I thought would enhance this already very good site. Don't know whether the moderators think it's a good idea though. Maybe they like to keep it to just sewing only.
Just thought I would pop in to say hello to you all. I found this site yesterday and quickly signed up. I have been sewing again for the past 18 months after about a 30 year break. Look forward to getting to know you
Oooh well done RioRita! Nice to meet you. I haven't been around too long but I've managed to download a few patterns and make a few things. Good to have that facility, and assistance if required. This is a smashing site, not too ovewhelming like some, although it can take time to get answers. Don't forget to log in each visit though. I've typed out stuff a few times only to watch it disappear because I forgot to log in!

That would be nice M, but no-one else seems to want to play. Shame.
Hello, making apricot jam, I hope. I just saw the "circle" listing today. What are the requirements? Nehmah
